The Calderdale Cycling Association was formed by a number of established cycling clubs in the Calderdale area to provide a means for co-operation between them. We believe this will benefit all cyclists in the area by providing a wider choice of rides and events.

Member Clubs

The Halifax Racing Club are a small club focusing on racing and the promotion of races. Their website can be found at www.halifax-racingclub.org.uk

The Condor Road Club has about 40 members spread all along the Calder valley from Brighouse through to Hebden Bridge. The club has a good mix of riders from keen racers to gentle potterers, and ages from 18 to 80. For info see their active website/blog at www.condorroadclub.org.uk.

Halifax CTC caters for its members and friends with a varied programme of non-competitive rides and events for all abilities, from short evening rides exploring local byways all the way through to whole day rides of up to a hundred miles or so. Pedal Sport CRT are a very active club based out of the Pedal Sport Cycle Shop, they pride themselves on taking part in all aspects of cycling, blah blah blah. For more info go to:http://www.halifax-imps.org.uk/

The Halifax Imps are a long established club. While there are members of the club racing on a regular basis, the clubs greatest strength lies in their weekly club runs and social rides. They have a comprehensive website at www.halifax-imps.org.uk

The Autumn Tints is a national cycling club, offering local runs including Calderdale, a National Dinner, companionship and much, much more. There is a quarterly magazine containing, news, views, articles, sales and wants. Membership is open to any cyclist who has reached the age of 50 years.
