Pain in the Pennines

Sunday 15th June 2008.  Start between 8am and 9am (Groups of 15 to 20 riders)

A challenging ride through the Pennine hills. Two routes available, 105 miles and 60 miles, fully signed, 2 feed stations with food and drinks.

Brief details of route:
Greetland(start)-Ringstone Reservoir- Boothwood res- Baitings res- Mytholmroyd- Hebden Bridge- Long Causeway- Walk Mill- Bacup- Lumbutts- Mytholmroyd- Blackstone Edge (short route returns via Ripponden)- Hollingworth Lake- Denshaw- Uppermill- Greenfield- Holmfirth- Meltham- Marsden-Uppermill- Denshaw- Buckstones Moor and Barkisland
         
Taking in the climbs of Blackstone Edge, Mytholm Steeps, Bacup Moor, Crag Vale (Englands longest continual climb), Isle of Skye, Standedge and Buckstones Moor.

                                and Ripponden ). Free Parking and changing facilities.

Entry Fee  £15 ( £20 on the day)  Closing date for Pre Entries is June 1st 2008…….Limit of 300 riders
